I didn't have enough time to write a full newsletter this week, but I’d still like to know how everyone is passing their time of self-isolation. What are y’all watching/reading/listening to/playing/creating? Have you watched anything new that suddenly moved from theaters to on-demand? Have you listened to any of the live streams from artists self-quarantining in their homes?
I haven’t had time to watch much, but I did see the first three episodes of “Little Fires Everywhere” and quite enjoyed them. Also, if you’re a country music fan, check out Gabe Lee’s new album “Honky Tonk Hell” and Caitlyn Smith’s new album “Supernova” when you get a chance. Both got released on March 13, right when everything started to get crazy, so those may have been lost in the shuffle. And Margo Price’s new song “Twinkle, Twinkle,” off of her upcoming album produced by Sturgill Simpson is fun and wild and made me smile when I was out for a walk earlier this week.
I have been rewatching "Justified" now that the entire series is streaming on Hulu. I forgot how it contained one of the greatest foil relationships of all time.
I also just finished "They Can't Kill Us Until They Kill Us" by Hanif Abdurraqib, which I cannot recommend more for anyone that really likes any kind of pop culture or writing.
What are y'all watching?
Love your info as always!😊
We just finished the first season of “Outsider” and enjoyed it a lot!
I also just finished reading “The wife between us” and would recommend if you like a twist in your books!
