No, I am not done talking about “Twisters.”
I have seen this movie in theaters three times now, placing it up there with esteemed company like “Mad Max: Fury Road,” “Get Out” and “The Lion King.” It’s so much fun and I’ve had a great time at every screening I’ve been to. I wasn’t expecting to like it so much (“Twisters” is basically my 2024 version of “Oppenheimer”), but it has been my go-to answer whenever anyone asks me, “Seen anything good lately?”
I’ve also written and talked a lot about “Twisters,” so this newsletter is going to be a brief roundup of all of my reviews.

My Letterboxd reviews of each time I saw “Twisters”:
My colleague at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, Brayden Garcia, also got the chance to write about the movie for the paper.
First, he got to interview Daisy Edgar-Jones about storm-chasing, filming the movie during Oklahoma’s storm season, and what her favorite Texas experiences have been so far. That story also has some great photos from Star-Telegram photojournalist Chris Torres.
Then, he talked to a bunch of local Dallas-Fort Worth meteorologists and storm chasers about the original “Twister” and how that movie got them obsessed with weather for life.
Enjoy!
